Yosemite: A National Park Full of National Wonder
CaliforniaÆs Yosemite National Park is among the most visited parks in the country. Boasting majestic sites such as Half Dome and El Capitan, Yosemite could be the most perfect outdoor weekend for experienced hikers and amateur sight-seers alike.

Start by entering Yosemite through the southern-most route that travels through the Mariposa Grove, a collection of gigantic Sequoia trees. Some of these trees have been around for at least 3,000 years! After spending time with these natural towers, wind your way up 41 north to reach Yosemite Valley.

Stop by and enjoy an inexpensive lunch at The CafT as you charge up for a hike. There are 840 miles of trails to choose from throughout Yosemite, with shorter paved trails for amateur and small hikers; and multi-day paths for professionals. For daring adventurers you can make the 30 mile hike to Glacier Point, a breathtaking vista surrounded by sparkling ice caps that overlook all of Yosemite.
